For a lot of people, the kitchen is the focal point of their home, because so much time is spent in there.

To make this kitchen, we were asked to knock a structural wall down and fit 2 'I' beams next to each other. This made it possible to create an 'open plan' kitchen.

'Knocking through' has meant that the old dining room space is utilised better and more often. The new kitchen is double the size of the old one.

Kitchens can be quite diverse - they don't all come from the high street. This one is unique.

I removed a modern brick fireplace from this chimney and installed these ovens and reclaimed wall tiles, down lighters and reclaimed oak book shelf.

This stud wall and these stained glass windows were built around the door which was found in an old barn.

A new floor made from reclaimed tiles.
